1950’s-1960’s wrist purse by Robin Handbags is a gold brocade fabric with brass hardware. The unique feature is the bottom of the handbag opens up to a powder compact and mirror. Powder puff and screen are intact and are marked “Robin Handbags”. The lining has a tear at the top(see pics) that is need of repair and there are grommets at the top that are meant for a drawstring.I thing the original material for the drawstring was a chain. The compact measures 3 1/8” Square, the bottom to the top of the bag is approx. 6” H and the total overall with the handle is 12 3/4”. This is a hard to find handbag with a distinct look and would be a great addition to any compact or purse collection! In good vintage condition.
