Mid Century Modern Fenton Thumbprint Swung Vase. It is in Fenton's stunning colonial blue color that turns a teal bluish color in the stretched area.This collectible footed bud vase stands 12" . Beautiful vase that fits into any style of home decor. A very popular MCM home accent piece. In great vintage condition.
Swung glass was created process by each piece extracted individually from their moulds, clamped on the end of a snap, reheated in a glory hole and literally swung by the glassmaker whilst the glass was still elastic in texture, to achieve their finished length and the unique opening at the top.
