1950's General Fibre Co. Duck Decoy. General Fibre was a major producer of paper mache decoys that began production after World War 2 in 1949. Dimensions of this decoy are 14" W x 7" D x 7" H. In good vintage condition.
General Fibre decoys were sold under the trade name of Ariduk. General Fibre Co. They also produced decoys for Sears Roebuck and JC Higgins. The factory was located on Locust street in St.Lois Mo. and remained there until 1959.
