Large 1950’s Aqua Blue Viking Swung Vase. The unique footed base is frosted aqua color leaves that holds the rest of the clear aqua vase. Total height is 16″ A beautiful vase that fits into any style of home decor. A very popular MCM home accent piece. In very good vintage condition.
Swung glass was created process by each piece extracted individually from their moulds, clamped on the end of a snap, reheated in a glory hole and literally swung by the glassmaker whilst the glass was still elastic in texture, to achieve their finished length and the unique opening at the top.
