Description

Stoneware bottles were among the first bottles made for Wisconsin brewers and merchants. The earliest ones were made in the 1850s, and their use peaked in the 1870s and by the turn of the century they had become obsolete.
ANTIQUE Slack & Cox Limited Manchester Ginger Beer Bottle In very good condition. This is a two tone bottle with a mustard color on the top third and a cream color on the bottom. The bottle has a clear graphic that reads Slack & Cox, Limited, Manchester. It also has the impressed name of the bottle manufacturer “Price Bristol” on the lower portion. No cracks a small chips on the lip. Glaze and color are perfect. Measures 8″ H and is very solid.
