1960s Paymaster Keyboard Ribbon Writer 7000 series. The Paymaster Series 7000 is a unique piece of machinery with intricate details and a classic eye catching design. A heavy 20 plus lbs. vintage piece of office equipment that measures 7″ W x 11 1/4 D x 9 1/2 H with handle. The Paymaster Series 7000 is a vintage 60 year old check printing machine manufactured by the Paymaster Corp. located in Chicago. The gunmetal gray color makes fits into any office decor as a display piece of vintage office equipment. In good vintage condition with key. Not sure that you’d really want to write checks with this machine. However, it still prints even though keys stick a bit. This would make a great display gift for an accountant or fun decor in an office. The machine was made for use in mercantile, trades, and factories and is a great representation of the technology of its time. The Paymaster products are in many museums as an example of cutting edge office equipment.
