Rare  Hard to find 1920s Art Nouveau 6″ H Oval Woman’s Talc Tin By Galve’. This talcum powder container is a richly decorated litho tin with brilliantly colored flowing shapes and intricate designs. A lovely floral motif. T are also exquisitely shaped butterfly wings. This beautiful Art Nouveau has a patent date on the lid of 8-2-21. The lid has a perforated top that twists to open(hard to open). The shoulders of the tin are in a deep cobalt blue, the body of the tin is a mustard color. Both sides are lavishly decorated with twining flowers and leaves in red, green, various shades of blue, orange, white and fabulous glowing gilt. The tin is still full. I very good condition. some minor scratches. A great addition to a cosmetic or tin collection.
