Antique C H Meinel Flutonica Harmonica in the original box. This harmonica was made by C.H. Meinel-Schlossmeinel in Germany in 1920-1925. The Flutonica is 9” long and has 10 single holes and 20 reeds. It has two finger holes and a removable end cap to control volume. The harmonica is stamped “C.H. MEINELS FLUTONICA” “D.R.G.M. No. 270087+SAXONY”. This is hard to fine harmonica. There is one on display in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
Condition is very good, minimal rust, scratches or dents. Box is fragile but great graphics. Definitely a wonderful piece to add to a harmonica or toy collection. A unique display piece or gift.
