In good condition, has a note on the cover page. The Synopsis of this book is, the main character John Hillard is captivated by a mysterious voice singing in a fog, leading him to a masked opera singer. The singer, later revealed to be the prima donna of an American opera company, leads Hillard on a journey to Italy, where he becomes entangled in her affairs, including a revenge plot involving her previous lover. Ultimately, their romance is threatened by the singer’s husband, the Prince of Monte Bianca, who is murdered by Hillard’s old servant.
